The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 386 Matachewan received its Charter and became a Branch of the Canadian Legion of The British Empire Service League on February 8, 1946. In 1996, The Royal Canadian Legion Br. #386 was honoured with a plaque from the Royal Canadian Legion. The Ontario Provincial Command in recognition of 50 years of dedicated service to the Purposes and Objects of The Royal Canadian Legion and to Canada.
