A Note from the Chief

It is my distinct honour and great privilege to have been selected to be Fire Chief for the Matachewan Volunteer Fire Department.

I am delighted to work with such a diverse group of dedicated  people who volunteer their time and energy to the department.

The department now has 12 active volunteer fire fighters and 2 pumper trucks. Our Fire Fighters are continually training to expand their skills and knowledge to be better prepared for emergencies.
